Classic TV Sound Effects LibraryThe sound effects in the Classic TV Sound Effects Library have all been selected from the personal collection of Robert L. Mott, a veteran sound designer and engineer whose 40 year career spanned the Golden Age of radio and television broadcasting. Bob’s sound effects have been heard in films, cartoons, theater and commercials, in radio shows like Gangbusters, Philip Morris Playhouse and Perry Mason, and in television shows, including Ed Sullivan, Jackie Gleason, The Tonight Show, Playhouse 90, Captain Kangaroo and Bob Hope. He was nominated for two Emmy awards for Days of Our Lives, and also worked as a comedy writer for Dick Van Dyke, Garry Moore, and Red Skelton. In recognition for his sound effect work in live television, he is featured in the Academy of Television Arts and Science's Archive of American Television website, honoring the legends of live television. Here's your chance to grab a slice of broadcasting history from a bygone era - this collection of 1,700 authentic sounds contains everything from a vintage adding machine to a factory "quittin' time" whistle, with a whole lot of stuff in between! Ready to Use in Your Asset Management System!Sound Ideas has prepared this fully digital product on DVD ROM by converting their original Red Book Audio CDs to the broadcast WAV file format. The library's metadata is already embedded in the broadcast WAV BEXT containers, ready for easy access. So, if you are using an asset content manager like the Sound Ideas MetaDigger software, you can simply download the digital audio files from your DVD ROM discs to your system and use MetaDigger to display, search and export their metadata information, audition the audio content and perform other functions with wav or mp3 files. It's that easy - the ripping and metadata work have already been done for you by Sound Ideas. |
